Rule #1 – Some Rules Are Meant to Be Shredded

Eat your responsibilities like they're last night’s croissant.

In the mildly feral world of Frankie Said Meow, we’re not about following every rule. Nope- some rules exist purely to be torn up, scoffed at, and ceremonially shredded. Especially the ones that say, “You should do it this way.”

Why shred the rules?

Because conforming is boring, honey. Whether it’s skipping rent week to spend on a cute tee instead, or binge-watching murder documentaries when you really should be meditating- you do you. Coqui doesn’t sit still. Why should you?

How to shred responsibly:

  1. Ask yourself: Does this rule spark joy- or anxiety?
  2. Say yes to mischief: Break the mold, skip the script, do the thing that feels delightfully rebellious.
  3. Stay mildly feral: Shed the rule, but keep the self-care. Nap. Hydrate. Wink at your cat.

What it looks like for real:

  • Scrawling “Nope” on your to-do list.
  • Saying “Rent schment” and throwing coins in your favorite indie merch pot.
  • Ditching the 9-5 buzz to create late night chaos in paint, prose, or pixel.

The takeaway:

Rules are suggestions- Coqui eats them for breakfast. Tear off the labels that don’t fit your weird, defy the norms that don’t vibe with your soul, and curate your own rulebook. That’s how we stay feral and free.

"Follow the rules? Sorry, busy shredding expectations."
