For the uninitiated (or the blissfully repressed), POGs (also known as milk caps) were the ultimate playground currency of the 1990s. Originating in Hawaii in the 1920s with caps from POG brand juice bottles, the game took over the world in the 90’s, turning cardboard circles into pure chaos and controversy (yep, they even got banned in schools for being “too competitive”).
